She showed us how to combine the built-in apps of Notes, Maps, Camera, Photos and Safari to make "easy presentations."
These techniques will help you fully realize the potential of your iPhones and iPads.
EASY PRESENTATIONS
Using features already on your iPad and iPhone
Basically we are building an Album in the Photos App (sunflower icon)
Example: Do a presentation on the GOLDEN GATE BRIDGE
Use the following Features
NOTES for:
Prepare an Outline
Type a Title Page
MAPS for:
satellite view of area you are presenting
CAMERA for:
Take pictures of your subject or
Take pictures of pages in Library books or magazines
SAFARI search sites like:
Google Images
Wikipedia
Specific web sites for your topic
take Screen Shots (press the Sleep button and the Home button at the same time) images go to your Photos. Hold your finger down on an image to bring up the Copy or Save Image options.
PHOTOS
Go to Photos > edit > tap on pictures you want to use > Add to new album > add name to Album
Go to each picture and tap on it then > edit > crop > adjust size of picture
Go to album you just named > edit > press and hold photos to rearrange the order to tell your story
PRESENT
Connect iPad or iPhone to VGA projector with adapter
Go to Photos > open your album > open the first image > swipe to advance the picture
PRESENT with MUSIC
Connect iPad or iPhone to VGA projector with adapter and audio cable to headphone jack
Go to Music app > pick a playlist > touch play > adjust sound volume
Go to Photos > open your album > open the first image > swipe to advance the picture
PRESENT at HOME
Connect iPad or iPhone to HDMI-in on big screen TV with adapter (includes audio)
Change source of TV to match HDMI-in
Go to Music app > pick a playlist > touch play > adjust sound volume
Go to Photos > open your album > open the first image > swipe to advance the picture
