Okay, you've got all those dozens, or hundreds, or dare we say thousands of priceless photos. How can you turn those masterpieces into something even more fantastic? You don't necessarily need a bunch of Apps. Melissa Green will demonstrate all the stuff you can do to perfect your snaps with the new Photos App.
Since we didn't finish last week's Photos I topic of photo storage and organization with the new Photos App, we will continue that next week on Oct. 2. Jennifer Kerr will talk about the iCloud Photo Library. It's a bit complex and not for everyone, but has some huge advantages.
We will start the session with some iOS9 discussion and tips and the usual cartoons and Apple news.
We also need some help with our schedule. Rik Larson has had to step back from our seminar for family concerns so won't be able to explain the new iOS9 iPad Enhanced Multitasking features on Nov. 6. Anyone willing to do this? The new iPad User Guide for iOS9, available for free from iBooks, will tell you everything you need to know. You do need to have iPad Air or Air2, iPad mini 2 or 3 or 4 to do some of these things.
Also, we need a presenter, or several, for Nov. 13. As suggested by some of you, we listed the topic of how to make Holiday or Family newsletters with text and photos. Pages is one way to do this (there are likely other Apps out there, too). Anyone like to try this? We can give you a few tips.
Remember, the classroom is not open until about 11:45 or 11:50. If time permits, we will show a couple of short, excellent clips about our new winter "friend," El Niño.
