Feb. 3: An Introduction, then Wifi and Websites on Devices. We'll work on the unfilled Schedule dates (topics and presenters), and have a Hot Tip. Note: Jan. 9 was the 10th anniversary of the first iPhone introduction. If our classroom is available before noon, we will show Steve Jobs' rather revolutionary presentation: think of how the world has changed in one decade!
Feb. 10: Reading on your Device: E-books, Tom Holt. We'll cover all about books, including iBooks, the Kindle app, Bluefire. Also where to get free and cheap books, and using iBooks for other purposes...and more, if we have time.
Feb. 17: Notes: Carol Dabrowiak. Learn all the useful features of the Notes App: add titles, create a checklist, add an attachment or a photo, mark up an image, create a sketch with your finger, and then organize your notes by date or title. So much more useful than a yellow note pad; you can even password-protect them.
Feb. 24: Messages Fun with iOS10, Jennifer Kerr. Texting is not only usually the best and fastest way to communicate, but with iOS10 you can dazzle friends and relatives with more than just words. Fireworks, anyone?
