AT&T MicroCell: A personal cell tower for your home.

Weak or no cell signal in your home?  Are you are AT&T mobile customer?  An AT&T MicroCell might just be the answer to your problems.  What is a MicroCell?  Essentially, it is a miniature cell tower that connects to the AT&T cellular system via a high speed Internet connection.   A MicroCell can be purchased at a local AT&T store for $199; however, you might be eligible for a free device.

The device will only work with AT&T cell phones and you have personal control which phones can access the cellular network via the MicroCell.  You can authorize up to 10 phones.  There is even a free app to control the device remotely.  In most homes it should provide 4-5 bars of signal strength approximately in a 40' radius of the device or approximately 5000 square feet.
